Financier Rasul Rysmambetov has published a study of the financial statements of JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" (KTZ) for 2008–2024, prepared on the basis of open data. In it, the author drew attention to long-standing audit qualifications, a retrospective adjustment of more than 32 billion tenge, an increase in advances to suppliers to 463 billion tenge, and other indicators which, in his view, require further examination.

The delivery of Stadler passenger carriages for JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy", planned for December 2025, has been delayed. The Ministry of Transport cited differences in technical standards between Switzerland and Kazakhstan, as well as additional questions regarding the carriages' parameters, as the reason. Earlier, the FBRC reported potential technical compatibility issues between the rolling stock and the infrastructure.

The court has passed a sentence in the case of the rape of a minor in the Pavlodar region.

Specialised Inter-district Criminal Court of Pavlodar Region (SMUS) found the defendant guilty under Article 120, Part 3-1, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (CC RK) — rape with the use of violence against a minor. The court sentenced him to 16 years' imprisonment. The verdict has not yet entered into legal force.

The owner of the "Centre Plov" cafe has been detained in connection with the fire in Shchuchinsk.
