According to the Police Department (PD) of the city of Astana, a report of shots was received from the courtyard of a residential building. Patrol officers arrived at the scene.
According to preliminary data, a group of young people in a state of alcohol intoxication were behaving aggressively. One of the residents, attempting to stop what was happening, fired into the air from a gas pistol.
WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THE SHOOTING
After the incident, all participants in the conflict were detained and taken to the police. Law enforcement officers stated that they would give a legal assessment of the participants' actions and take measures in accordance with the legislation.
At the same time, the police emphasised that information about residents being wounded does not correspond to reality.
