On the state property portal E-qazyna, seven former service dogs of the border service department of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan have been put up for sale. One lot is a German Shepherd named “Mayorka” in Pavlodar Region, and the second is six dogs in Zhambyl Region. The bidding starts on 10 September 2026.

A coronary intervention centre costing 3.1 billion tenge is being built in the Urzhar district of the Abai region.

In the Urzhar district of the Abai region, a Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Centre with 12 beds is being built – a specialised unit for emergency heart operations without opening the chest. The nearest existing centre for such operations is 175 kilometres away in Ayagoz. Last year, 189 patients from the district had to be taken there.

A tonne of saiga horns has again been put up for auction for 1.2 billion tenge.

Checks in Akkol have revealed violations in the implementation of environmental and veterinary projects

In the Akkol district, residents complained for several months about a strong smell coming from the 'Agro Protein' LLP plant, which processes hides, and about the construction of veterinary facilities on land without proper documentation. Inspections confirmed some of the violations: the plant has been fined and suspended, and the state authority is seeking through the courts to revoke the environmental permit that allowed it to operate.
