In the city of Ridder, East Kazakhstan Region (EKR), specialists have stepped up surveys of the area following new cases of bears appearing on allotment plots and in the private sector. Three crews of inspectors from the rapid response unit of the forestry and hunting department have been dispatched to the city.

The National Bureau of Statistics has published producer price indices for June 2026. In industry, prices rose by 17.2% year-on-year, in agriculture by 16.6%, in wholesale trade by 13.8%, and in construction by 9.2%. The main contributors to the increase were oil extraction and metallurgy.

Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development responded to a request from the FBRC regarding the acceptance criteria for the "Tasqyn" system. The system was accepted into commercial operation by an act dated 6 February 2025; the subject of acceptance was the correctness of the software code, not the accuracy of forecasts. The ministry did not provide specific indicators of forecast precision, error margin, or reliability.

The Prosecutor's Office of the Karaganda Region found no grounds for criminal prosecution of doctors in the case of the death of Meruert Aulbayeva. According to the department's findings, the violation committed by one of the doctors is not considered gross and does not contain elements of criminal offences. Meanwhile, the surgeon found guilty of negligence avoided punishment due to the expiry of the statute of limitations in the case.
