In Atyrau, the court found the project director of the private school LETS School guilty under paragraph 2 of part 4 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan ("Fraud on an especially large scale"). More than one hundred parents have been recognised as victims. The damage had not been compensated at the time of sentencing.

The total amount of damage exceeded 583 million tenge, which has been fully compensated.

In Kazakhstan, a draft order amending the rules for mobile number portability has been put up for public discussion. The document provides for the operator's right to refuse number porting within 60 days of its first activation and sets a maximum operator response time of 10 minutes. The discussion will run until 6 March 2026.
