Mazhilis deputy Guldara Nurumova has stated that there is a critical shortage of medical workers in rural areas of Kazakhstan. Despite the payments for young doctors provided for by state programmes, in a number of regions the funds have not reached the specialists. The parliamentarian demanded from the government specific reports and responsive measures.

Billionaire Vladimir Kim became the direct owner of the Nauryz Corporation Limited Liability Partnership, previously controlled through foreign structures. The company owns land assets in the foothills of Almaty valued at over 50 billion tenge. The change of ownership occurred in December 2025.
