Vice-Minister of Agriculture Azat Sultanov has commented on the situation regarding the deaths of saiga antelopes and livestock in the West Kazakhstan Region (WKR). According to him, specialists are conducting surveys and laboratory tests, and no threat of mass livestock mortality is observed.

The expert was convicted for a false conclusion in a case concerning a death in the West Kazakhstan Region.

The national operator emphasised that it is not involved in the mentioned projects, and that Aral Resources' licences did not provide for exclusive rights to uranium.
