The court imposed actual prison sentences ranging from 5 years and 8 months to 9 years.

Mazhilis deputy Murat Abenov has stated his readiness to take responsibility following the controversy surrounding his post about the detention of foreigners with weapons at the Highvill residential complex in Astana. The police clarified that it was not a detention, but rather antique weapons of historical and cultural value.
