The Government of Kazakhstan has allocated approximately 1.8 billion tenge for the repair of heating networks and equipment at the combined heat and power plant (CHP) in the city of Ridder, East Kazakhstan Region (EKR). The decision was formalised by a decree signed by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov.

The exchange rate of the tenge in Kazakhstan strengthened in April against the backdrop of growth in exchange trading.
