Mother of the participant in the beating of a schoolgirl in Karaganda fined 45,000 tenge

The Juvenile Court of Karaganda has fined one of the 16-year-old participants' mothers 45,413 tenge for the beating of a 13-year-old schoolgirl. The incident occurred on 16 February when a group of teenagers attacked the girl and filmed the event on video. The woman was found guilty of failing to properly fulfil her duties in raising her child.

The ВАП has been granted the right to refuse to recognise audits from ministries in Kazakhstan.

The Supreme Audit Chamber of Kazakhstan has been granted the right to additionally inspect and, if necessary, refuse to recognise the results of internal audits of ministries. The new regulation strengthens external control over departmental checks and may change the procedure for using audit reports in the state financial control system.

The Ministry of Agriculture, having called the FAO an incomprehensible organisation, continues to actively cooperate with it.

The company Kundelik has been fined 2.9 million tenge for a data breach involving schoolchildren.

According to him, the leak did occur, but it happened several years ago and does not affect the service's current database.

In the Zhambyl region, an ambiguous situation is developing around preparations for a meeting between the region's akim, Yerbol Karashukeyev, and residents of the town of Zhanatas in the Sarysu district. Local activists claim that the event, advertised as an open dialogue with the public, is in fact being organised in the form of a "mandatory attendance" of employees from budget-funded organisations.
