In Kazakhstan, a large-scale criminal and administrative amnesty is being prepared, which could affect more than 15,000 people. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that it will apply to citizens who have committed minor offences, as well as crimes of medium gravity, provided that the damage is fully compensated.

The Talas District Court of the Zhambyl Region upheld the claim of the Astana City Education Department for the recovery of funds for the training of a graduate under a budget grant. The defendant failed to fulfil the obligation to work after receiving the diploma. The court ruled to recover 1.7 million tenge from him.
