Residents of a three-storey building in the Druzhba housing estate have reported problems which, they say, remain unresolved. Among the complaints are the lack of tarmac in the courtyard and a rubbish-filled pit opposite the building.

The court case regarding Freedom Finance and "KazTAG" was adjourned after the defendants failed to appear in Almaty.

The main trial in the criminal case between Freedom Finance and the KazTAG news agency did not take place in Almaty due to the absence of the defendants. A large fire broke out at the Bala Park entertainment centre in Semey

On the evening of 3 March, a fire broke out at the BALA PARK children's entertainment centre in Semey. The flames engulfed the building's play area, with the fire covering an area of 3,100 square metres. The fire was extinguished the same evening, and there were no fatalities.

The delivery of Stadler passenger carriages for JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy", planned for December 2025, has been delayed. The Ministry of Transport cited differences in technical standards between Switzerland and Kazakhstan, as well as additional questions regarding the carriages' parameters, as the reason. Earlier, the FBRC reported potential technical compatibility issues between the rolling stock and the infrastructure.

The court has passed a sentence in the case of the rape of a minor in the Pavlodar region.

The court sentenced him to 16 years' imprisonment. The verdict has not yet entered into legal force.

The owner of the "Centre Plov" cafe has been detained in connection with the fire in Shchuchinsk.
