A youth project on conscious resource consumption has been launched in Almaty

In community centres of Almaty, a series of meetings with young people has started, focused on combating wastefulness — from excessive spending on image to uncontrolled consumption of water and electricity. The project will cover educational institutions and youth centres of the city.

A company linked to Trump has received $1.6 billion for tungsten development in Kazakhstan

American company Cove Kaz Capital has received approximately $1.6 billion from US authorities for the development of tungsten deposits in Kazakhstan. These are the Severny Katpar and Verkhneye Kayraktinskoye sites in the central part of the country. If the project is granted additional funding, the total amount of US government support will reach $2 billion.

Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov has responded to a Senate inquiry regarding reform of arbitration legislation. The government has proposed introducing compulsory liability insurance for arbitrators and simplifying the process for invalidating individual arbitration agreements. The initiative to recognise affiliation as an unconditional ground for setting aside a decision was not supported.
