5 November 2025, President Tokayev signed a decree approving the fundamental principles of domestic policy — the first systemic document of its kind. State Counsellor Yerlan Karin, in an article, outlined the essence of these principles, emphasising digital ethics and the fight against information manipulation.

For several years now, Kazakhstan has been consistently expanding electoral processes at the local level, but the experience of pilot elections for district akims has revealed a number of systemic problems. Hence the question arises: is the country ready for mass direct elections, or does this step still require additional preparation?

The Health Department of the Zhetysu Region has commented on a video appeal from paramedics and ambulance drivers in Taldykorgan to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Minister of Healthcare Akmaral Alnazarova. Earlier, the medical workers had spoken about difficult working conditions, inadequate pay, and the need for systemic changes in the 103 service.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Sanzhar Adilov has promised to look into the situation regarding the surveillance of the founder of the FBRK, Kirill Pavlov.

Starting 24 November, a new procedure for paid quarantine phytosanitary inspections has been introduced on a pilot basis in the East Kazakhstan, Mangystau, Turkestan, Abai and Zhetysu regions. The decision was made taking into account the practices of Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, China, Belarus and Russia.
