In Astana, blogger Aida Jeksenova was summoned to the extremism unit of the city police department following a complaint filed by Alexei Puchkov, a promoter of concerts by Russian artists. The complaint relates to her post in which she called for a boycott of a concert by Russian performer Timati, writing: "Do not buy tickets to Timati's concert. Do not sponsor the war."

The villagers lost the lake after it was transferred into private hands in the Akmola region.

According to parents, the centre's staff suddenly left work chats, and the offices closed.
