Kazakhstan introduces mandatory labelling of saiga horns

Kazakhstan has expanded the list of goods subject to mandatory digital labelling, for the first time including saiga horn in it. The new rules will come into effect as early as 1 December 2025. Such a hasty measure does not appear coincidental against the backdrop of the state’s active preparation for the commercialisation of derivatives from the steppe antelope.
