In the General Prosecutor's Office, a comment was made on information circulated in the media regarding the alleged use of torture by investigative bodies in criminal cases investigated under Article 274 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan ("Dissemination of deliberately false information").

The Balkhash City Court found the head of the surgical department of the Balkhash multidisciplinary hospital guilty of negligence that caused the death of local resident Meruert Aulbayeva. However, the doctor will not face punishment due to the expiry of the two-year statute of limitations for criminal prosecution in this category of cases.

A resident of Shymkent has been sentenced for fraud involving "investments" totalling over 35 million tenge. The court found that the defendant attracted money from citizens by promising to multiply their investments through participation in public procurement, but in fact spent the funds received on gambling.

The worn-out bridge over the Keles River collapsed in the Turkestan region.

In Turkestan Region, a bridge over the Keles River on the road in the village of Koshkarata has collapsed. According to preliminary data, the cause of the incident may have been the erosion of the base of the support columns due to the prolonged use of the structure. Footage from the scene of the emergency has appeared on social media.

The prosecutor's office returned land worth 2.3 billion tenge to the state in two regions.

The prosecutor's office of the Akmola and Pavlodar regions has secured the return of lands and property worth billions of tenge to the state. In the Akmola region, forest fund plots with a cadastral value of 2.2 billion tenge were returned to state ownership, and in the Pavlodar region, agricultural land and property with an estimated value of over 100 million tenge were recovered.
