The Shymkent Department of the Financial Monitoring Agency has halted the activity of a group of individuals suspected of organising an illegal online gambling business.

In Taraz, an internal investigation is being conducted into a police officer — the juvenile affairs inspector Bakhytzhamal Omirzak. The reason was a statement about damage to a car filed by a former employee of the city prosecutor's office, Daniyar Kuttybaev.

In the East Kazakhstan region, an acute shortage of medical staff is being recorded, which remains one of the key factors limiting the accessibility and quality of healthcare for the population. This was reported by Aynash Kapanova, Deputy Head of the East Kazakhstan Region’s Health Department.

Specialised Inter-District Administrative Offences Court of Astana on 19 December terminated the administrative case against the founder of the FBRK, Kirill Pavlov, under the article on the dissemination of false information due to the expiry of the statute of limitations. At the same time, in the clarification to the ruling, the court noted that the publication is allegedly unreliable and does not correspond to reality. The court hearings were repeatedly postponed from mid-November.
