The Prosecutor's Office of the East Kazakhstan Region (EKR) has initiated a pre-trial investigation following an inspection at the State Communal State-Owned Enterprise "Nursery-garden of Malonarym village" in the Ulken Naryn district. According to the supervisory authority, the accountant transferred excessive salary amounts to herself and the head of the institution, as well as funds intended for the payment of taxes and mandatory deductions.

Vice-Minister of Agriculture commented on the death of saiga and livestock in WKO

Vice-Minister of Agriculture Azat Sultanov has commented on the situation regarding the deaths of saiga antelopes and livestock in the West Kazakhstan Region (WKR). According to him, specialists are conducting surveys and laboratory tests, and no threat of mass livestock mortality is observed.
