The company has called on business representatives not to hand over money and to verify such offers through official sources.

Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Kazakhstan has for the first time confirmed violations at quarries in the floodplain of the Ilek River in the Aktobe region. Companies have been fined over 1.5 million tenge for illegal sand extraction and unauthorised blocking of the river channel. A comprehensive assessment of the impact on the hydrology of the Ilek is not provided for by the department.
