Deputies demand disclosure of the sources and volumes of foreign funding for NGOs and media

Deputy Magerram Magerramov demanded that the Minister of Culture and Information, Aida Balaeva, disclose data on foreign funding of NGOs and media outlets. According to the State Tax Service, in the first half of 2025, 186 entities received funds, but the amounts, donors, and purposes of the financing remain undisclosed.

The authorities have named feed poisoning as the cause of the mass cattle die-off in a village in the Akmola Region.

The head of the Akmola Regional Territorial Inspectorate of the Veterinary Control and Supervision Committee, Manat Abdrakhmanov, stated that the cause of the death of cows and calves in the village of Dongulagash, Zerenda District, was feed poisoning.
