At the Korday automobile checkpoint in the Zhambyl region, an attempt to import contaminated batches of plums and cherries from the Kyrgyz Republic was prevented. The dangerous produce was not allowed into the territory of Kazakhstan, and administrative measures were applied to the violators.

The Financial Monitoring Agency (FMA) has completed its investigation into a criminal case concerning the alleged illegal receipt of budget subsidies allocated to support the agro-industrial complex. The amount of unlawfully obtained payments exceeded 2.6 billion tenge.

On the territory of one of the residential complexes in Almaty, a man used force against a child. Following the incident, a criminal case has been opened, and the suspect has been taken into custody.

Today, in the district court No. 2 of the Bostandyk district of Almaty, a trial began in the criminal case of the former editor-in-chief of ORDA, Gulnar Bazhkenova, who told journalists before the hearing that she had transferred up to 20 million tenge per month to individual entrepreneur accounts for the subsequent payment of part of the employees' salaries in cash.
