Lawyer denies reports of charges against Kamchybek Tashiyev

Lawyer Sherdor Abdykaparov stated that no official charges have been brought against the former head of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) of Kyrgyzstan, Kamchybek Tashiyev. Earlier, he had reported the existence of charges, but later deleted the publication and stated that he had made an inaccuracy.

<p>Kamchybek Tashiyev has been charged with attempting a coup d'état.</p>

Former high-ranking officials — Kamchybek Tashiev, Kurmankul Zulushev and Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu — were questioned at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic (MIA KR). The interrogations are linked to the investigation into the case of mass unrest and actions that the investigation regards as an attempted coup d'état.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has identified 41 cases of human trafficking in Kazakhstan.

Following the inspection, the municipal enterprise was fined 14 million tenge. Supervisory authorities have issued an order to eliminate the identified violations.

The Almaty court has passed a sentence in the case of embezzlement at Air Astana and FlyArystan.

Almaly District Court of the city of Almaty has heard a criminal case against three former employees of Air Astana and FlyArystan airlines, accused of embezzlement and money laundering. Two defendants received sentences of 8 years and 6 months each, and a third received 9 years' imprisonment with confiscation of property. The court's verdict has not yet entered into legal force.

The State Revenue Committee has clarified the procedure for monitoring mobile transfers by individuals. Banks will transmit information to the tax authorities when three criteria are simultaneously met: regularity of transfers, number of senders, and total amount. Automatic account blocking or closure of transactions is not envisaged.
