The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan has reported calls to citizens from unknown individuals posing as polyclinic staff and requesting SMS codes and personal data. Such cases are being recorded in different regions of the country and are not related to the activities of medical organisations. The department urges citizens not to share personal data and to verify information through official services.

The police have detained two foreigners for producing mephedrone in Taldykorgan.

In Taldykorgan, police officers of Zhetysu, coordinated by the prosecutor's office, have shut down the operation of two drug laboratories. According to the investigation, two foreign nationals, aged 31 and 21, are believed to be involved in their operation. During searches, more than 1.3 kg of mephedrone was seized, along with laboratory equipment and chemical reagents. Investigative actions are underway to establish all the circumstances and any possible accomplices.

Former deputy akim of VKO Zhaksylyk Omar has been sentenced to 6 years' imprisonment

In Aktobe, the court has sentenced the organisers of the Harmony Rider Technology (HRT) financial pyramid, finding them guilty and handing down prison terms of up to six years. According to the AFM, 115 depositors were involved in the scheme, investing over 197 million tenge under the guise of funding e-scooter rentals. Funds were channelled through crypto wallets, with some of the money used to purchase vehicles that were confiscated by court order.

In Almaty, during the first day of the operational and preventive measure "Stop-Violations," the police identified more than 2,000 traffic violations.
