The defendants were found guilty under several articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including fraud and money laundering. According to the investigation, in 2023 he was involved in the illegal trafficking of unmarked cigarettes, which resulted in the state budget losing over 1 billion tenge in excise duties.
