Fires in Zhetysu have covered more than 563 hectares in three days

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported the localisation of a fire in the reeds of the Alakol district of the Zhetisu region on 27 September. The fire broke out in a swampy area approximately 35 km from the village of Besagash. NASA FIRMS satellite data show, however, that hotspots in this area were also recorded on 25 and 26 September.
