The family of a former police general fell victim to a robbery attack.
On the night of 19–20 June, a robbery took place at the home of former police general Zhailaubek Khalykuly in the Almaty region. At the time of the incident, his wife and two young grandchildren were in the house. Unknown assailants stole around 3 million tenge and gold jewellery.
