In the Abai Region, the implementation of 26 social projects, financed by funds returned to the state, is ongoing. The total cost of the projects exceeds 50 billion tenge.
WHICH FACILITIES HAVE ALREADY BEEN COMMISSIONED
According to the Prosecutor's Office of the Abai Region, one of the key facilities is the new building of the Centre for the Provision of Special Social Services in Semey. The construction cost amounted to 2.6 billion tenge. Following the commissioning of the building, the shortage of places for individuals with neuropsychiatric disorders was eliminated, and the waiting list for receiving special social services was significantly reduced.
In the Ayagoz District, the construction of an extension to house a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine worth 250 million tenge has been completed. The new diagnostic complex provides residents of several districts in the region with access to high-tech medical care.
WHICH EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES HAVE BEEN BUILT
In Semey, a modern Palace of Schoolchildren has also been built at a cost of 7.6 billion tenge, with a capacity of 1,500 places. Conditions have been created for children to engage in sports, swimming, robotics, aircraft modelling, IT technologies, and other areas of supplementary education.
Currently, work is underway to ensure safe access roads and pedestrian infrastructure to the Palace of Schoolchildren, as the facility is located near a ring road.
HOW MANY PROJECTS ARE BEING IMPLEMENTED IN THE REGION
As reported by the Prosecutor's Office of the Abai Region, a total of 26 social projects are being implemented in the region, with a total cost of more than 50 billion tenge, financed by assets returned to the state.
The progress of construction and the timely implementation of the remaining socially significant facilities are under constant supervision by the authority.
