WHICH LANDS HAVE BEEN RETURNED TO THE STATE
According to the prosecutor's office of the Zhetysu region, the return of the land was carried out following a prosecutor's response act. During supervisory activities, the prosecutor's office of the Koksu district has ensured the return to the state of 200 hectares of fertile land which had not been used for its intended purpose for a long time since the beginning of this year.
Their cadastral value exceeds 229 million tenge.
WHAT VIOLATIONS THE PROSECUTORS UNCOVERED
In addition to the already returned plots, district prosecutors have identified another more than 7,000 hectares of agricultural land lying idle in violation of land legislation requirements. An act of prosecutorial supervision has been submitted to the authorised body for their compulsory seizure and return to the state land fund.
HOW THE RETURNED PLOTS WILL BE USED
The land plots returned to the state will be distributed on a competitive basis. As noted by the prosecutor's office, this will allow local residents and conscientious entrepreneurs to gain legal access to land resources for the development of livestock farming, crop production, and strengthening the economy of the Koksu district.
The prosecutor's office reported that the issue of the rational use of land resources and the transparency of their distribution remains under the department's control. Work to bring unused land into legal economic circulation continues in all districts of the Zhetysu region.
