The Ministry of Defence has warned that in August and September, the movement of weaponry, military equipment and personnel will take place across the country as part of the strategic command-and-staff exercise “Batyl Toitarys – 2026”. Rail, road and air transport will be used for the deployment of troops.
HOW THE TROOP DEPLOYMENT WILL PROCEED
According to the Ministry of Defence, the troop deployment will be carried out using a combined approach. Weaponry, military equipment and personnel will be moved by rail convoys, road columns along public highways, and also using frontline and army aviation.
WHAT OBJECTIVES THE EXERCISE AIMS TO ACHIEVE
The strategic command-and-staff exercise “Batyl Toitarys – 2026” is comprehensive in nature and covers training ranges across the entire territory of Kazakhstan. It is designed to test the readiness of the Armed Forces to carry out tasks in modern conditions.
During the exercise, the use of troops and the coordination of inter-service interaction within a unified operational environment on land, in the air, at sea and in cyberspace will be practised.
WHAT CITIZENS WERE ADVISED
The ministry called on citizens and representatives of the mass media to remain calm, to rely exclusively on official information, and not to spread unverified reports.
The ministry also reminded that the dissemination of deliberately false information, as well as the publication of inaccurate details, carries liability in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
