A driver from Almaty said he received a fine for using a mobile phone while driving. According to him, a camera captured the moment he was holding his hand to his ear, but he claims there was no phone in his hand.
WHAT HAPPENED
As the author of the post wrote on Threads, the fine notification arrived at night. In the post, he stated that the system recorded the use of a mobile device, although, according to his version, there is no phone in the picture. The author also published an image from the camera showing him holding his hand near his ear, and asked users for advice on how to appeal the fine.
According to him, the camera was located near the Northern Ring Road in Almaty.

In the comments, users suggested several courses of action. One commenter advised visiting the Qamqor website, where, they said, you can view the video footage of the violation and, if necessary, submit an appeal. It was also noted that an appeal is possible through the eOtinish service.
Another user recommended obtaining a detailed call log for the exact time the violation was recorded, in order to prove that no phone call was taking place.
