Officers from the criminal police have solved the theft of funds amounting to 7.6 million tenge, which took place during a flight on the route Shymkent — Astana. Two foreign nationals have been arrested on suspicion of committing the crime, and the stolen money has been returned to its owner.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), criminal police officers swiftly solved the theft of funds on an especially large scale, which occurred on board an aircraft.
According to preliminary information, during the flight on the route Shymkent — Astana, the suspects took advantage of the victim's inattention and secretly stole money belonging to him in the amount of 7.6 million tenge.
WHO WAS ARRESTED
Two foreign nationals have been identified and arrested for committing the crime. The materials do not specify which countries the suspects are citizens of.
Those arrested have given confessions and have been taken into custody. An investigation is currently underway. Law enforcement agencies are also checking their possible involvement in other crimes.
