WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT THE PROCUREMENT
According to the government procurement website, City Transportation Systems LLP (CTS) has announced a tender for the supply of 1,300 bicycles for the needs of the capital.
The cost of the procurement is 2.336 billion tenge. Based on the lot amount, the price of one bicycle is approximately 1.797 million tenge.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE COST
According to the technical specification, in addition to the bicycles, the project includes 195 bike stations, each consisting of 10 docking points and one information panel with an LED screen. The supply of software is also provided for.
The documentation states that the bicycles must be new and intended for use in the public bike-sharing system.
WHAT THE BICYCLES MUST BE LIKE
The bicycle must be propelled by pedalling with additional assistance from an electric drive. The type of bicycle is specified as mechanical with an electric drive.
