Environmentalists are concerned about the shallowing of the Caspian Sea and the potential ecological threat.

The process of the Caspian Sea’s shallowing has accelerated so rapidly in recent years that environmentalists in the coastal countries are sounding the alarm. According to them, an ecological disaster could occur much sooner than previously forecast.

The Prosecutor General's Office returned 12.3 billion tenge to the state by challenging court rulings.

The General Prosecutor's Office reported the contesting of illegal judicial acts. In 2024, the Supreme Court, following protests from the department, reviewed 50 acts, 38 of which were in favour of the state for a total of 12.3 billion tenge.
