KTŽ refused to accept the first Stadler carriages due to issues with the braking system
The first passenger carriages from the Swiss company Stadler, intended for JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" (KTZ), were not accepted after defects were identified in the braking system. The manufacturer acknowledged the faults and is rectifying them at its own expense.
