Ticks have bitten more than 1,200 people in a region neighbouring Kazakhstan.
Since the start of the season, more than 1,200 people, including over 450 children, have suffered from tick bites in the Orenburg region of Russia. Cases have been recorded in all municipalities of the region, which borders the West Kazakhstan, Aktobe and Kostanay regions.
