In Pavlodar, police officers and bank employees prevented an attempt to steal funds from a pensioner. The woman was persuaded to withdraw money from her accounts after giving an SMS code to unknown individuals. Thanks to the vigilance of the bank staff and the intervention of the police, she did not lose 5 million tenge.
