Residents of the village of Kushoky in the Bukhar-Zhyrau district of the Karaganda region have recorded an open appeal to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. According to them, after two weeks of water supply disruptions, the water supply was restored, but black-coloured water with a strong unpleasant odour began to flow from the taps.

The banking system of Kazakhstan has maintained its stability according to the results of the supervisory stress test for 2025. Eleven banks, which account for 86% of the country's banking sector assets, passed the test. Following the simulation of a crisis scenario, the core capital adequacy ratio stood at 16.1%, significantly exceeding the minimum regulatory requirement of 5.5%.

The list of services includes directing and staging work, technical support for the stage, lighting and sound, as well as the delivery of a concert programme. The court sentenced him to 8 years' imprisonment and disqualified him from holding senior positions for 5 years. The issue of compensation for damages is being considered in civil proceedings.

Activists from Shymkent were sentenced to 4 years in prison for extortion

Kazalinsky District Court of Kyzylorda Region found activists from Shymkent, Yergali Kulbayev and Aklima Yertaiyzy, guilty of extortion committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy. The court sentenced each to 4 years of imprisonment. Enforcement of the sentence against Yertaiyzy has been deferred.
