Ex-deputy akim of Zhanaozen suspected in case of embezzlement of 223 million tenge for hospital equipment
The Department of the Agency for Financial Monitoring (AFM) for the Mangystau Region is investigating a case of the alleged embezzlement of funds allocated for the opening of a burns unit at the Zhanaozen Multidisciplinary City Hospital. Among those under investigation are a former deputy akim of Zhanaozen and representatives of the hospital, a public foundation and a supplier company.
