A tunnel intended for suspected smuggling has been discovered on the border between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
A subterranean tunnel has been discovered in the Batken region on the border with Uzbekistan, which, according to preliminary information, may have been used for the illegal movement of goods. An inspection is currently being carried out in connection with the discovery.
