A service dog named Bucha from the Canine Service Centre of the Atyrau Regional Police Department detects explosives silently - without barking or aggression, only with a quiet signal to the handler. This is exactly how a specially trained dog works at strategic sites and mass events in the region.

HOW BUCHA WORKS

According to the Atyrau Regional Police Department, Bucha has undergone special training in detecting explosives and serves in the Canine Service Centre of the department. Thanks to her exceptional sense of smell, the dog can locate dangerous objects in a short time, providing significant assistance to police officers.

The dog's main characteristic is discipline and self-control. Many mistakenly believe that a service dog, upon finding a dangerous object, will inevitably start barking or showing aggression. However, specially trained dogs act differently: when detecting a suspicious object, Bucha remains calm and gives the handler a special signal. This demonstrates the high level of her professional training.

A PARTNER IN UNIFORM

Bucha's service is inseparably linked with her partner - the inspector-handler of the Canine Service Centre of the Atyrau Regional Police Department, Police Sergeant Major Rakhymzhan Yerbolat. During their time working together, they have become true partners who understand each other without words.

"Working with a service dog is not limited to giving commands. You need to know its character, understand its mood, and carry out daily training. Over time, a special trust develops between the human and the dog. For me, Bucha is not just a service dog, but a reliable partner," says Rakhymzhan Yerbolat.

Serving in the law enforcement agencies, Rakhymzhan Yerbolat contributes to ensuring public safety. His work requires a high level of responsibility: the search for explosives is one of the most important areas, requiring vigilance, professional training, and high skill.

SERVICE AND FAMILY

Alongside his official duties, family holds a special place in Rakhymzhan's life. He is a caring husband and father of two young daughters, and he tries to spend all his free time from service with his loved ones. His children are proud that their father serves in the police.

"No matter how important the service is, family always comes first. When I return home, I am no longer a police officer, but first and foremost a husband and father. The laughter of my children gives me strength and inspires me to move forward," he says.

According to Rakhymzhan, family support gives confidence to every police officer. Despite the complex tasks and responsible decisions faced in the line of duty, the warmth of home and support from loved ones help overcome any difficulties.

UNNOTICED BUT IMPORTANT WORK

Today, Rakhymzhan Yerbolat and Bucha continue to work together to ensure the safety of the region's residents. Their daily work is not always visible to those around them, but its significance is hard to overestimate. By preventing threats and ensuring the peace of the citizens, this well-coordinated duo demonstrates high professionalism and dedication to their cause.

The coordinated work of Bucha and Rakhymzhan, their mutual trust and sense of responsibility, is a vivid example of the special bond between a human and a service animal in the law enforcement field.
