Жители жилого массива Дружба в Костанайской области пожаловались на отсутствие благоустройства

Residents of a three-storey building in the Druzhba residential area have reported problems which, they say, remain unresolved. Among the complaints are the lack of tarmac in the courtyard and a rubbish-filled pit opposite the building.

WHAT PROBLEMS THE RESIDENTS HAVE RAISED

According to the publication “Nasha Gazeta”, a female reader living in the 30-flat building described the situation. The woman contacted the regional akimat, claiming that, in her opinion, the city authorities are not responding to residents’ appeals.

One of the main problems, according to the woman, remains the lack of landscaping in the courtyard area. She noted that there is no tarmac surface in the yard, and after rainfall, puddles and mud form.

WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE COURTYARD

The author of the video said that children are forced to play near puddles because, she claims, there is no playground or other landscaping features in the yard. She also stated that promises to improve the area had been made over several years, but the work had never been carried out.

On one side, a tarmacked road approaches the building, but further on, according to the resident, a muddy area begins, including in the building’s courtyard.

WHY RESIDENTS ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE PIT OPPOSITE THE BUILDING

Another problem cited by residents is a pit located opposite the building. According to the reader, it is filled with rubbish. It is claimed that residents have repeatedly asked for it to be filled in, but no changes have occurred yet.

The woman suggested that the pit might have been left over from a planned house construction that never started.

WHAT WAS PROMISED BY THE HOUSING AND COMMUNAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT

In 2024, the head of the department of housing and communal services, passenger transport and highways of the Kostanay city akimat, Denis Petrukhno, reportedthat specialists, together with staff from the Department of Emergency Situations (DES), had inspected the pit and found no threat to life or health.

At that time, Denis Petrukhno stated that the pit would be cleared and filled with soil during 2024. However, judging by new appeals from residents, the problem remains unresolved.
