In Karaganda, police officers identified and detained an 18-year-old local resident who tried to evade law enforcement on a motorcycle and published videos of his actions on social media. Administrative reports have been drawn up against the young man, and the collected documents have been sent to court.
HOW THE EVENTS UNFOLDED
According to Polisia.kz, the young man was riding an enduro-class motorcycle and repeatedly violated traffic rules. It is noted that he exceeded the speed limit, ignored road signs, and posed a threat to other road users.
Furthermore, the driver failed to comply with the lawful order of internal affairs officers to stop, drove through a red traffic light, and continued moving in an attempt to flee.

According to the police, the young man filmed his actions and posted them on social media. The published footage captured dangerous behaviour on public roads.
The patrol police identified the offender during operational search and preventive measures. He was subsequently detained.

Reports have been drawn up against the 18-year-old resident of Karaganda regarding the following offences:
- driving through a red traffic light;
- failing to comply with a lawful order from an internal affairs officer to stop the vehicle;
- driving a vehicle without a state registration plate;
- driving a vehicle without a driving licence.
The offender was placed in a temporary detention cell. The collected materials have been sent to court for a procedural decision.
The motorcycle was taken to an impound lot.

The Department of Police (DP) of the Karaganda Region reminded that dangerous driving and ignoring lawful orders from police officers entail liability as provided for by law. The department emphasised that road safety depends on compliance with the rules by all road users.
