A 19-year-old resident of Kyzylorda sustained severe injuries after an incident on a ride at "Arai" park. Doctors performed emergency surgery and amputated both legs. The victim's condition remains extremely serious and unstable.
HOW THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED
According to eyewitnesses, the tragedy occurred on 15 June on a ride at Arai park in Kyzylorda. As reported on social media, the young man's legs became trapped in the ride's mechanism.
Information about an urgent blood donation appeal for the victim also appeared on social media.
WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT HIS CONDITION
As reported by the multidisciplinary regional hospital, the young man, born in 2007, was brought by ambulance to the medical facility in an extremely serious condition, according to Informburo.kz.
The hospital's chief physician, Zhasulan Baimakhanov, stated that the patient required urgent surgery. Medics performed an amputation of the left leg at the level of the upper thigh and an amputation of the right leg at the level of the ankle joint.
The victim's condition remains extremely serious due to the injuries sustained.

According to the police department of the Kyzylorda region, a criminal case has been opened regarding a violation of occupational safety rules that negligently caused serious harm to health.
The police department stated that investigative actions are underway to establish all the circumstances of the incident. Following the investigation, a procedural decision will be made in accordance with the law.
