Dana Ateshova has announced the conclusion of years-long legal proceedings with her ex-husband Marat Aitenov, brother of the former akim of Shymkent Murat Aitenov. The parties concluded a settlement agreement, and the man now voluntarily pays alimony in an amount several times higher than the established sum.
HOW THE CONFLICT ENDED
As reported by Ulysmedia.kz, Dana Ateshova spoke about the outcome of the legal proceedings on her Instagram page.
According to her, she achieved the desired result and decided to drop further claims.
"I got what I wanted under the settlement agreement. I won because I realised that this victory was not over my opponent, but over myself," she said.
The woman named changes in her ex-husband's relationship with the children as the main outcome. Now Marat Aitenov voluntarily pays alimony several times more than the agreed sum, communicates with the children and supports them.
"And that's without any paperwork, any additional agreements, the man just decided to do it and does it," Ateshova noted.
HOW THE SCANDAL UNFOLDED
Previously, FBRK repeatedly covered the conflict between the ex-spouses. Dana Ateshova held solo pickets demanding fair alimony for three children.
According to her, the ex-husband initially paid only 24 thousand tenge, since his official income was small. The woman claimed that Aitenov deliberately understated his earnings.
Later a dispute arose over a house in Astana. As previously reported by FBRK, citing the Telegram channel "Vykhod k Pravde", Ateshova claimed that her ex-husband was trying to evict her and the children.
In July 2024, footage emerged of a forced eviction in which Aitenov dragged his ex-wife across the floor in the presence of police officers. Later, a court sentenced the man to 5 days' arrest, and for another incident of domestic violence — to 12 days.
In November 2024, Aitenov's Mercedes was seized. According to the regional chamber of private bailiffs of Astana, his alimony debt exceeded 23 million tenge.
Now Ateshova states that the conflict has been settled. However, the exact terms of the settlement agreement and the amount of current alimony are not disclosed.
