AFM has referred to court a case concerning the alleged issuance of fake invoices worth 356 million tenge

The Department of the Financial Monitoring Agency for the East Kazakhstan Region has stopped the activities of a group of individuals suspected of issuing fictitious invoices in the name of the LLP "Ust-Kamenogorsk Inert". Through the alleged scheme, 356 million tenge was cashed out, and the damage to the state exceeded 91 million tenge.

In the town of Kulsary, Atyrau Region, an investigation into a criminal case is ongoing following a conflict between schoolchildren which left two teenagers injured. The court has imposed a measure of restraint on the suspect in the form of house arrest, although he is permitted to attend lessons. After receiving a formal reprimand, the school principal resigned voluntarily.

School of rhythmic gymnastics vacates building in Astana after purchase by Otbasy Bank

The building of the rhythmic gymnastics sports school in the Duman microdistrict of Astana has been purchased by Otbasy Bank JSC. The bank is not permitted to lease out the premises and is obliged to use them for its own purposes. Tenants have been notified of the need to vacate the premises by 1 March 2026.
